Blue Oasis x Watchyl Lavender Blue

Blue Oasis x Watchyl Lavender Blue

I really like the colors on this one. As the plant matures, the lavender band is becoming larger and more pronounced.

There are two types of daylilies based on the number of chromosomes. a DIPLOID or DIP has 22 while a Tetraploid or TET has 44. It means that they cannot be crossed with each other, so you have to know which they are if you want seeds. There is a highly dangerous way to change a DIP into a TET, so sometimes you will see 'tet' used in the name to indicate that it was done. 'Wave Effect' has as parents (sdlg x tet Texas Kaleidoscope) x tet Colorful Edgings - 2 converted DIPs.
