Blue Penstemon

Is this Misty Blue? Very similar to mine, and very pretty!

Ladies, I have sent a PM to Karen asking if she can recall the name of this Penstemon.

Hi everyone! It could be sour grapes..its a little bit bluer than mine, but that could be the climate and sunlight difference. It doesnt match any of my other blue vars.

Ive never heard of misty blue Sheila, so it wont be that one. :)

Yes, me too Shirley! (I bought my misty blue because the P. labelled 'sour grapes' wasn't . . they're very alike though.) If mine are still in flower, I'll take a pic.

Sheila, I shall look our for your photo of it. I also have P. Electric Blue, a gift from daughter last year, but it really is not looking good at all right now, not put on much growth and short on flowers ... :o(

Perhaps I should move it across to be near the other blue one!

I find some of them just need to be replaced Shirley. I havent seen my electric blue at all for at least one year. But tbh I tend to dig them out because they get too big and floppy...and then forget!

Used to grow them a few years ago, but never thrived in our garden, there are some really beautiful ones around now, we grew them in the Midlands with no trouble at all!! sad because we love them...

Some of them are really fabulous. My white one is just stunning. :)

Karen, that's made me wonder where my white one, 'Snowstorm', has gone as don't recall seeing it last year.
