Emily and the Trophy..

I know this isn't gardening related but I just had to show you. I took Emily to a Young Musician contest yesterday to sing a duet with her friend Lucy. They sang 'Half a world away' and were declared winners in the duet category. Talk about feeling emotional, a lump in my throat and tears in my eyes, hearing them sing so nicely together.

How lovely,Sheila..and it's the reaction we all feel,when our Grandchildren do well..My goodness,Emily has blossomed into a lovely young girl..it seems no time at all since I saw her as a little one...Many congratulations to her and Lucy...that is brilliant :o)
