Dahlias

It is raining on your lovely Dahlias Lindak by the looks of it. It rained all day here, mostly gentle rain, and it was really needed here in Essex after all that heat scorching the roses to a crisp.

Raining like Billy'o here too, but your Dahlias will love it Lindak, provided they don't get too much...lovely soft colour by-the-way.

Yes Dorjac and Waddy it's rained all day here. A neighbour gave me a rooted cutting and we placed it into a pot and it grows well. I dry the tubers off for the winter and cover them in some dry compost then repot them again in the Spring time.

Thats a lovely one Linda. I have flower buds on some of mine, but I pinched them out a bit later, so it will probably be mid July...IF we get some warmth. Its very cold here this afternoon.

Hi Ck It's grey but dry so far this morning. We start growing the Dahlias in the greenhouse then put them outside.
