Hydrangea quercifolia 'Alice'

Hydrangea quercifolia 'Alice' (Hydrangea quercifolia (Oak-leaved hydrangea))

I saw one of these at a botanical gardens once and couldn't believe how large the flowers were. I got this a few years ago and even though it has grown well, the winters have always killed the flower buds until this year. The flowers aren't nearly as big as some that I have seen before but I'm hoping they will be bigger in the next year or two.

What else?

See who else is growing Hydrangea quercifolia (Oak-leaved hydrangea).

See who else has plants in genus Hydrangea.
