Yes, it was loving all the heat! It's nice now...however, not for long lots of heat and humidity coming in from the monsoonal flow this week.

The heat and humidity is already here. Ugh! It has shown up a few days early.

The plants will be fine...most love the heat or need to the heat to grow well. All my plants are tropical or subtropical natives.

I assume it's the Palms that dont like hot sun. No humid weather is horrible not many like it here either.

Chamaedorea species are understory palms. They are native to tropical S. Mexico through Central and South America.

Ahrr I see I would of thought Mexico woukd be hotter.

Yes, most of Mexico is tropical or subtropical and can be very hot and humid. Most Chamaedorea species come from higher elevation in tropical rain forest. They are understory palms which need shade.

Ahrr so they need the cover of other taller trees.

Yes, that's what understory means, plants which grow under tall dense shade trees in the tropical rain forest or any forest.
