It's not really a weed at all. This is as big as it gets and it plays nicely with other plants.

Yes milkweed is the only host plant for the Monarch butterfly.

Oh you're welcome. I actually studied this out. The Monarch will only lay her eggs on milkweed plants and the babies are raised on it. They synthesize the poisonous compounds in the plant for their own defenses. Would be predators instinctively know not to mess with the Monarch.
