The rain was very welcome the plants and most of all the weeds loved it Ha ha ...

Reading had 34cms of rain which probably means Bracknell got about 20!

Spectacular plant,a garden conversation piece!

It's a gem of a plant! It actually prefers it on the drier side. At my last house it used to hit close to three metres in a season and was about two metres across.

It certainly copes with a dry place. I saw it growing in its native home at the back of a beach in Chile, so almost pure sand but access to water further down.
