Any ideas what yellow flowering plant is called

Last year I went to a garden nursery and this was planted in cafe garden. Fell in love with it but nobody there could tell me what it was call. Will post a close up photo. Plant was about 6ft tall.

Thank you Green finger, in the next photo both Hywel and Karen said they wouldn't have it again as it takes over. When I looked it up, I thought it might be Lemon Queen but thank you for confirming that my thoughts where right :-). I still love the look of it.

Your welcome, Jen. I didn't agree with their comments as I have this plant & it gives a wonderful sunny feel to the garden at the latter part of summer. It would be such a shame to dispose of it.

It was one I was thinking of buying as I loved the wow inpact when I saw it in the garden of the café at my local garden nursery, as you say, it really did brighten up that garden. I suppose it's all down to if there is enough room in the garden for it.

Lol Sue, only trouble is I told hubby what was said and he said that he didn't want anything that would take over so I will now have to persuade him :-). He has since ordered a tri-coloured buddleia to go in space I was thinking of putting Lemon Queen in.

At first sight I thught it was Hypericum hidcotegrown as a standards but on enlarging it I changed my mind. Have you got a closer shot?
