old cigarette cards

how old are those irish?

Probably quite old. I used to collect them as a child over 65 years ago. My dad was a heavy smoker...well everyone was then ("good for the lungs"!!!). Women too were encouraged to smoke - "good for the nerves". Even soldiers were given extra rations.
