Thanks both
Amy not heard that one before , any more details ?
Vjd its you that inspired me to put on here as I have said before not enough veg photos .
the smaller cucumber is destined for work as one of the girls has about 4 rescued guinea pigs and they do a hop and a weird noise when putting cucumber into the run lol I know because she videos them on her phone to show us.

it is different than the ones i grow, i just saw some in the grocery , they called them a European cucumber, very expensive here, double what we have but ours are fatter, nice on a sandwich.

Andy you just slice the cucumber in slices thick or thin also slice the onion in rings put it in layers in a jar with malt vinegar it will keep for some time its nice with a salad or bread & cheese ...

They look great GG. I've grown Telegraph myself in the past and they always seem to crop well. It's just the smaller variety this year for us.
Amy, that sounds like a yummy idea...I must try it!
