I've grown these Rudbeckias from seed. First one to bloom. This is the one to grow - ginormous 9 inch blooms.

Thank you Thru, I wasn't expecting them to bloom this year. I started the seeds indoors back in February. They have big fuzzy leaves which are nice to touch. A real stand out compared to the other Black-eyed Susans.

You had a lovely surprise then Bathgate ☺ Is it an annual as I am sure Black Eye Susan is. Yes more prettier than Black Eye Susan.

Not sure what to expect. It's listed as a 'short lived perennial' but not sure what that means, lol. They will self seed so that's good.

Perennial mean it flowers for 2 or 3 years because they reseed their selves it seem to live longer unlike an annual which does nt come back like perennials.

Yes it would look fantastic you ll have to collect the seeds or let it reseed it self.
I would get another packet and cast the seeds all over lightly raking them in .
