Really stunning butterfly. We haven't seen many butterflies around this year. SO sad.

I ve said the same Bathgate over here building on our green belts it must be have a big affect on the wild life.

thank you for the comments. Many of our butterflies are slowly disappearing as well. I remember as a kid, butterflies were everywhere. We'd run after them with a net and put them in a jar. Now, it's a rare treat so see a butterfly like this.

What a wonderful memory chasing butterfly s . Yes and considering we now are living in a warmer climate we should be seeing more.
