I have now removed all chickweed from basket ? and added some sprigs of ivy in place and saved the winter pansie centre peice hopefully she still blooms

Thorneyside Thanks and i know they dont look like pansie leaf and they do look like chrysanth and is growing taller than id expect a pansie to grow happy not wormwood though. Checked today and started to showed signs of flowering so will update when i find out. Please dont apologise its all helpful as I'm a complete amatuer.

Welcome to Goy. Are you sure that's winter pansy Marcopolo? The leaves look more like chrysanth to me or maybe wormwood that's crept in and seeded although I could be totally wrong. If so, I apologise profusely and hope you enjoy the flowers.
