Hi Gg, Someone else has said Himalayan Balsam. Apparently, it's very intrusive.

Yes it's the balsam and I may be wrong....but think its a foreign plant and not native to our countryside. Along the riverbanks it seems to be getting invasive.

Hi Treetop
Very Invasive and its only a annual but the seeds explode when ripe , but as a beekeeper its a great plant flowers up to the 1st frost so that can be late November , packed with pollen and nectar so great for the bees to stock up on before winter sets in , and the honey is so unique and very popular if you can get hold off it ...
From a insect point of view very useful, but it does crowd out other native plants .

This pretty wild thing grows in the nature reserve opposite where I live, but it has the characteristics an Orchid.
No idea what it's called, no doubt you experts will tell me though.
