We had a few apples on the ground yesterday...early yet...but I cooked them up, (with lemon juice and cranberry juice added) ready for a crumble today.

My apples are ripe already Linda. Very early. Must be down to the sunshine in May cause we've not had much since!

Hi Ck I think we are going to have an early Autumn. Some of the leaves on the trees are beginning to turn yellowy.

They are indeed. My swedish birches are turning buttery already.

Hope that doesn't mean an icy long winter though....

My friend says a 'worthy' she saw recently said its going to continue wet all summer and we will have a very hard winter from January onwards. Always so chhering a weather forecast isn't it? :s

A good show of apples......A long hard winter we could do without!!

The way the apples are swelling DD I shall only need one or two of them for a pie.
