I will have to return in late winter. The Christmas thing is for forced plants..on their own Penny,they are late winter to spring bloomers.

It will look great when it starts developing its bracts. It should start putting out the bracts in two months or so.
They commonly grow this big here in San Diego. I once saw one 25' tall. It was in someone's back yard. It had a really large circumference, also.
