Eucomis "Pink Gin"

Eucomis "Pink Gin"

Only two flowers this year so I will re-pot very early spring before the growth starts

The red/pink ones are better looking than the white ones. They are really easy from seed if you ever think about trying that.

I normally do leaf cuttings , and getting hold of seed ?

I like this variety as its so huge , the others I have are so mush smaller "Sparkling Burgundy" and Vandermerwei is even smaller

It will set seed, at least mine do. When the center of the flower gets huge and then pops open. That's what is so good about this bulb - it looks great while the seed pods are ripening.

How long do the flowers last please? There's a lot of foliage unless the flowers last ages.
