Coreopsis grandiflora 'Sunfire' - 2017

I 'rescued' this plant from the reduced section of a reputable local Garden Centre two weeks ago. Someone had pulled all the flowers off, leaving empty stems. After tidying it up, it was planted in the garden and watered well. Two weeks later, and it has fully recovered.

Never do well with Coreopsis here, given up trying now!

It will be interesting to see if this overwinters. C. verticillata is easy for me.
