I must take cuttings of this white Gaura, as I don't find it very long lived. My Gaura 'Crimson Butterfly' is no longer.

I thought this a annual , never survived after a winter here ...

Crimson Butterfly lasted 3 seasons, was really looking a strong plant at its demise, which surprised me.

I think they just burn themselves out with the amount of flower they produce

You are probably right Gg. Have now taken cuttings of this white, just in case.

Yes, Gg, non flowering side shoots. Have done this several times. Unfortunately didn't think I would loose my original and one year old Crimson Butterfly the same winter.
