What a lovely fluffy fern

Funny thing is Penny, its not a true fern but a relative of the edible Asparagus. In ground, even this will make tall- but thinner- spears like the edible. A little slow growing, but its potted might do that.

Asparagus ferns are my biggest nightmare! lol! They grow wild and are difficult to eradicate. This one is a little more manageable, though.

It's going to be sweltering here the next week or so. I'm not looking forward to it! :>((

Yes, I have three different types of Asparagus ferns growing wild here. It's a major challenge to keep them form not strangling some plants.

I had the fine one used for florists. I wonder if its still there in the corner or if a gopher got it? It had twined and covered the bamboo fencing.

That's the one which strangles everything here. I wish I could completely eradicate it!
