LOL, 3d! yes I heard the warning bells when I bought it. I find that it tolerates our terrible winters better than some vines. I paired it with the VC to help it establish and I'm interested to see how they manage to get along. When the campsis was planted on it's own it didn't do well...now it is near the foundation of the house so it will have some warmth for it's roots through the winters. That seems to be the ticket..and as I said..no flowers yet..but next year I hope!

I ve got buds on one mine been there for weeks but have nt opened.
Is it more vigourous than the Virginia creeper. Glad to hear it tolerates the cold .
Yes it will be interesting to see if they tolerate one another being together.

Is it very riggerous Lori I have two a red one and Indian summer dare not put them in the ground as some one said its vigourous.
