Papaya fruits always grow on the "trunk" of the plant. The flowers grow out of the trunk. Many tropical fruits grow like this. A few examples are: Star Fruit, Jaboticaba, Pouteria, Star Apple. I've posted these fruit on GoY in the past.

Now, I just get lemons from my neighbors. They all have lemons trees.
Lemon trees are one of the most tender of the citrus. They don't tolerate much cold. They do tolerate a lot of cool weather, though. This is due to the sour fruit.

Thats interesting lemons like cooler weather to.. Lol so your lemon shop is on your door step how good is that good neighbours then . I love a thick slice of lemon and a little honey in hot water just the lemon in hot water is refreshing in hot weather it also brakes up gall stones and kidney stones with the honey added it clears your lungs . They say lemon and baking soda kills cancers.

Lemons will tolerate cool weather because it doesn't need heat to sweeten the fruit. Most all other Citrus need a lot of heat to make the fruit sweet.
Lemon is the most widely used culinary and medicinal used fruit in the world, from what I remember.
