Geranium 'Buxton's Blue.

That's a great solution. I have two Rozanne's that just go mad and sprawl over everything around them. But this year I cut one down and it has come back and reflowered much more compact which is great. So next year I shall do a Chelsea Chop on both of them and perhaps cut them back again in August and hopefully everything won't be smothered. Your Buxton looks lovely with the red berries.

Wonderful markings.

The Rozannes, which I have seen in others gardens were huge and covered in flowers. Seems a good idea to chop them back twice. The striatum Geraniums I cut back a couple of weeks ago, have resprouted and have the odd flower or two.

Good old Hardy Geraniums.....

I have decided after many years of growing, that I feel they look particularly untidy about this time of year.
I have used G. Ann Folkard in this manner for some time, so surprised I have only just thought to treat Buxton in the same manner.

Lost Ann Folkard, will buy next season from Dorset Perennials, had her about ten years!!

My Ann Folkard has been better in previous years, can't say I've actually seen any flowers on her this year. She is only just perking up.

I love her sprawling habit.....

This combination was inspired, can't say it was deliberate though. Looks like a cascade of blue down the fence.
