Off with their heads!! (Crataegus laevigata (Midland hawthorn))

Will delay digging them out..until the

Oh dear. Have liked it as liked your title but such a shame.

Triple shame!!!?

Siris that's true......never mind Jen, the title was supposed to be humourous!!
Gnarly we needed to stop the rest of the diseased leaves falling all over the border, not that much light, they were not dense trees.
Stera it was hard work, the wood was very hard and spiny, just got to dig the roots out now!!
Dawn we would never have bought them had we know they were susceptible to this disease....

What a shame I am sure you shall find some thing better and more disease resistant to replace I did giggle with Off with their heads title one of my favourite films Alice in Wonderland.

Very thick string....macramé between....or weave willow through to make a support for clematis...

3pence, glad it made you smile.....Lindak grand idea, but they will have to come out, we have a couple of plans...

What else?

See who else is growing Crataegus laevigata (Midland hawthorn).

See who else has plants in genus Crataegus.
