The common name is Rain Lily because a burst of wet weather is enough to bring them into bloom.

I'm not too sure about the hardiness. Maybe in a sheltered spot in free draining soil.

My Nomocharis didn't come back so I'm giving up on tricky bulbs now. Nomocharis are supposed to be easy enough in Scotland given decent drainage. The slugs probably got it.

Nomocharis dislike disturbance and drought in my experience. I lost all mine too.
