Yes Ck and HB. It's a lovely spot and there are skylarks up there, a kestrel, and many crows. Also Hares. I'm one of the weatherwatchers and send in the weather from Belper every day with a photo and this one was chosen for the T.V. weather forecast two days ago. I find the weather interesting, and a long time ago, think it was 2004 they had a wishing chair in Derby and so I made a wish to visit the weather studios in the East Midlands and was on the telly with Sarah Blizzard. It was a special day and very interesting to see how they produced the programme.

Good for you Linda! I'm not surprised they chose the photo. sorry I missed it on the telly. But I googled the spot, and yours was by far the nicest photo of it on the results!

What a stunning scene.

It's lovely up there and you can see for miles...on a good day that is. If the weather closes in everything in the distance disappears.

That's an amazing view Linda...the sort a painter would like, with wonderful light .

We have some lovely countryside in Derbyshire, and a very long time ago I went up in a hot air balloon from Tissington and could see Carsington water, and for miles around. From up there you can hear every sound.

Oh, that's on my bucket list!

We had a very early morning start Waddy, but it was an amazing thing to do, (and I'm scared of heights,) so I took my video camera up with me to distract the thought and got on very well. No wind resistance either as you drift with the wind.

Oh bliss!
