My young Red Caribbean papaya has been in the ground for almost a month and it's loving it there under the big mother plant. Photo taken Oct. 4, 2017.

It's grown a lot in just under a month. I wished I planted it in the ground back in June or July! This variety has been more of a challenge for me to grow. It's very, very tropical.
The mother plant is 12 ft (3.7 m) tall now and full of papaya fruit.
