I got this because the Billbergia nutens I have grow really well here, and I wanted to try some of the others in the species.

Good idea trying the other species when the other grows so well will you be trying any more ?

I am waiting for Billbergia pyramidalis var. Concolor to arrive from Madeira.

I am trying to figure where to put another bromeliad I have - Alcantarea imperialis. It needs sun and a permanent place since it can take 10 years to flower. It is going to be huge, so I need to figure out the best area.

Yes I can see what you mean lol it better be a good size space after I watched this. What part of your garden gets the sun mostly any where near your house.
