Is that what is called the false Castor Oil plant , Thorneyside ? It looks very happy .
We have had two for years , originally a "rescue" from Woolworths , and kept as a house plant , then divided and planted out . It is indestructible , although OH tries very hard to do so !

This one is about 15 years old Wylie but has it's leaves removed for floral arrangements on a regular basis.
I believe that's it's other name Driad. I also have the variegated variety and 'Spiders web', a mottley one. They don't grow as fast as this basic variety.

The person across the street from me has this, and they have let it get out of control. It is like a forest, and the roots are able to push up through the asphalt of the street.
