It has been very hot and dry. No, rain so far this rainy season.

Lovely varieties there Andy shame you ve had no rain I think we ve nicked it all . It was raining that hard I thought it was going to brake the windows it was that loud my grandson thought his window had disappeared thunder and lightening high winds to a winters thunder is a summers wonder so I am hoping for a nice summer this year.

Pineapple express just poured all night. Mild temps- but not much to do out there in the mushy grounds.
I haven't had to bait..but I think that now is the time. Snails must be ready to explode.

Well, now I can actually say we had 2 1/2 inches of rain within 48 hours here. It was great! I'm so happy and my plants are ecstatic! Plants and tree have perked up and look good now.
Snail will be coming out here, too.

If plants could throw a party I think they would having the rain after so much drought? lol you ll have to get some beer traps Andy.

Yes, the plants are so, so happy! :>))
The snails haven't been a problems at all this winter. I'm putting out a lot of egg shells. It appears to be helping.

Thats great your lucky not to have problems with the snails this winter we will get them thats for sure.

Winter is not done here, yet. lol! We haven't gotten a lot of rain, so snails are not too active. When we did get the rains a few weeks back there were a few around; however, not as many as usual. I think it's due to the crushed eggshells. YAY! :>))

No the snails seem to multyply if it rains a lot thats the down side of damp and rain here to. Glad you dod nt get to many snails when you got the rains a few weeks back. Yes the egg shells do deter then .
Well lets hope you get more rain there then to keep your tubs filled if your winter has nt finished .
