The poor little birds and animals have had a really tough time lately.

I've been going in and out with food and water for the birds. At least it's a lot warmer today 7 degrees and the snow is nearly gone.

It's registering 8 degrees here to Linda, only the odd pocket of snow left and apparently by the weekend some parts of the UK will be warmer than Naples.

We went for a walk along the Cromford Canal yesterday and the path was slushy but it was good to get out and walk the three miles. We fed the ducks with some grain.
