I saw some in Madeira a couple of years ago that would have been about the same size.

Of all plants I have taken photo's of..this is near the top all time. It just stood out so much on a cloudy day too.
Today is nice and sunny..It would be great to grill burgers while looking at that!

I still have a few "flowers" on mine, but the wind rips the green leaves off, so it is just the red bracts.
