How unusual and a wonderful shape.

The other, which I posted before, is much lighter than this. They are both open today. I was beginning to think this one was never going to bloom. It has a lot of areas where there might be buds - that is what you see in the background (the whole plant is unusual).

Yes I noticed this is darker that great tgey are both flowering at the same time. At least its now flowered worth the wait yes it looks unusual does it flower one at a time?

It varies on the number of flowers. Sometimes one, other days 3 or 4. The plant is about 12" tall.

That good to know it looks simular to a succulent with its leaves which here would need to be an indoor plant.

Most of my spring flowering plants would have difficulty surviving in the UK because they need to be kept from freezing.
