At last sufficient sun to ripen the Opalka toms. in the greenhouse.

One of our daughters-in-law gave us the seeds. She belongs to a Gardening Group which promotes Heritage seeds. You can find them on the web if you're interested (the seeds I mean, not the Group)

They are absolutely delicious Marguerite. More fleshy than any of the cherry toms. but just as sweet. Makes a lovely lunch with salt, plus cut-and-come-again lettuce and home-made bread.
