I can’t tell you what a tonic this photo has been for me today. The flowers, the spring fresh foliage, the life in that bark....its really giving me a lift. Think I’ll use it as my homepage!

You are opening early June and so are we! so far behind at the moment! OH has had to re-sow as the first sowings died from the cold!

What will be will be though Angela....everyone knows how awful it has been. We are all in the same boat. :)

There have already been cancellations because of the awful Spring!

Gosh...cancellations. Well I suppose if ypu were going to open in May, or even April.....disaster! At least we will have the equivalent of a May garden in June (worst case), and May is so lovely when the sun shines.

We have the Annual conference on Tuesday. Should be interesting. Will meet some new people.

We really look forward to our annual luncheon, such good fun, and lovely to catch up with old friends......

Hmm, it seems to be very rampant and I'm not sure I have anywhere suitable for one really.

Shirley we keep it well pruned, it’s growing up a 6ft Obelisk...and it has a beautiful perfume!!

Yes, I used to hack mine back too. I have one in a large pot against a trellis. I don’t think it will flower this year, but we’ll see. The leaves are lovely too.

They are Karen......my OH is really severe with his pruning....and it responds well.....
