This is a closer view of the flowers on the Blue Bauhinia. It has lots of small blue flowers. Photo taken March 25, 2018.

Yes, it's most likely about 8 ft tall. It has tons of flowers. It was developing a lot of seed pods. I took some from my this plant. I'll see if it grows. I'm not sure what its hardiness is, though.

Most Bauhinia species will tolerate some brief freezing temps. If it's prolonged it will cause some damage; however, they recover pretty quickly. Many hours of freezing along with days of freezing temps they cannot tolerate without dying.

Nice size for a plant the internet says is a dwarf. I see a rating down to 9b,but I am dubious about that.
