Karen I usually win the prize for being last. The winter and freezing spring has certainly taken its toll on you this year, typical as you're opening but fingers crossed it will catch up.
My osmanthus has had tight white buds for a couple of weeks and my autumn prunus came into bloom a few days ago.
The ground is soddened, I need to weed! I'm so fed up with going out and getting sludged up.

This is one of the earliest things to flower in my garden too...but still not flowering yet. My prunus kojo no mai is 'just' starting to open its first flowers today. And even Prunus subhirtella Rosea is not yet fully out, although it does look pretty today. Honestly.....we are sooooo far behind!
