Shame Dotty. Naughty sparrows Siris. Any idea how Amy takes the cuttings? I must ask her. Now mine usually gets frosted so I'm crossing my fingers.

How strange mine has never been eaten by anything or frosted it must be to do with where we lived , I brought a cutting with me which is doing well at the moment , Dawn to take a cutting choose a nice new growth about as thick as a pencil about 6/8" long usually late summer with 4 nice fat buds with one at the top one at the bottom 2 inbetween plant in soil I use any kind they don't seem fussy slope the cutting at the top straight cut across at the bottom ( you'll know which way up to plant it then ) put a little rooting powder on it then either put it straight in your garden plant it up to the second bud or pot it ,firm the soil down , they don't take too long to 'take ' good luck x it's a good idea if its late and looks like frost to cut the bottom off a lemonade bottle to pop over it at night time ...
