Thanks Karen. He was coming up ever so close and nagging me if he thought I was too slow finding him a worm ?

I never get a Robin anywhere near me because Molly JRT always has her nose in any hole I dig looking for anything that moves! She doesnt eat the worms...she just plays with them and leaves them on the lawn.

At times Shadow doesn't let it get close but think he was hot today so was happy to just lay on the grass next to me. Lol glad she doesn't eat them ?

Now that is a photo, we have a robin from Sept til April then he seems to disappear but always returns. Haven't had a photo of him for years, of course it's not necessarily the same robin, but we like to hope!

Thank you Sunnydais. Took the photo with my phone so was pleased it came out. At the moment we have 4 visit the garden and we watch them from the conservatory fighting for territory but think it is this one that only comes up close.

Thanks Feverfew. I was amazed that it came out so well. He had spent all morning coming up close for worms so when I went back out after lunch I took my phone out just in case I got a chance to take his photo.
