Hi Thrupennybit, the beans are now in the garden, with the peas. We've put a net around the peas as the Sparrows have a liking for them.

Thats great they are now in the garden they will soon s shoot up. I dont blame you putting a net around because of the sparrows . Where I had an allotment years ago there was nt any sparrows as there were sparrow hawks but I get sparrows here .
