Hi DD and Thrupennybit. These are the first goslings that we've seen.

Thats great Linda and what a lovely first sighting. I ve only ever seen one family at a time in one area on the canal but further up or down the canal I have seen other families I thought perhaps they have their own territory .

I think they do have their own space when they breed Thrupennybit. The only problem is that in some places the mink, or other predators get the babies.

Yes thats the trouble Linda other predators shame really.
