I bought seeds for Petunia 'Harlequin Burgundy', and this is what opened. It does have some very bright colors.

It should have been red with white markings along the ribs and a white ruffled edge. But it is a really nice carmine. I gave some to a neighbor, and they are the same.

This once is better than the red I ve had red too much more in this one for colours.
It would of been nice to see tge red one with the ruffle edge though not seen one wuth that kind of edge. How kind you shared them with your neighbour.

Some of the time I get seeds that have been pelleted, and if they aren't in a little vial, they can get crushed. So I just dump the whole mess onto the pot and end up with more plants than I want or can use. My neighbors don't know much about starting seeds, and they don't like buying them (a single potted petunia will cost €5), so it is no problem to share my excess.

Ahrr thats a good idea with the pelleted seeds. I use to share with my old neighbours at another house but here where are I am now except a man up the lane to whom I gave him 3 Acers does the tiny trees what the Japanese do other than that no one else is interested your lucky if they even speak to you .
Yes plants here have gone up a lot in price.
