A friend sent this to me last month because it has never flowered in all the 5 years she had had it. Last week guess what!!! Should I tell her? ?

That's just typical, that it should flower after being given away! Perhaps the shock of being moved had something to do with it. Lovely photo of your garden with the bright yellow poppies behind & the white blossom.
