Grown from seed, this climber has small cream flowers, followed by purple fruit, for a sheltered garden. Growing next to Cotinus on the back fence trellis.

Sowed the seed in 2016, planted the plant in the garden 2017, so survived last winter's harsh weather.

I await the purple fruits in Autumn, I hope they will contrast enough in colour against the Cotinus, otherwise I'll have to train it to the left.

I cheated and bought one recently. Billardiera heterophylla is surprisingly hardy so I thought that I would take a punt.
