Salvia Royal Bumble...

And here, although the flowers were red until a couple of days ago, now they're red and white (and very wet!)

Pretty such a vivid red.

Have removed Hot Lips, she was far too free and easy!

Perhaaps that why she got her name ?

My Royal Bumble carked it! Pretty much the only Salvia that I have lost this winter. Rather hacked off about it.

Really Meanie, I thought this one was hardy!

It always was until the beast from the east arrived.

A lot to answer for....

I noticed today that my salvia 'Amistad' and salvia patens have both survived the winter and are putting out new growth.
