Yes, the flowers all come out at the same time don’t they, and the Gertrude Jekyll rose is opening just above it. The rain (torrential) won’t do it any favours though.

Yes they do all come out together its the same weather here dull it feels more like winter that a few days off summer.

What a lovely rose! Shame I have no room for roses on our balcony, unless they are the miniature ones! I do have one & I've been fighting for a couple of months trying to get rid of the greenfly that invade it the moment my back is turned! It now has a bud that I managed to keep clear of them which is about to open.

Umm, this is a clematis balcony, the rose is on another thread. I think you probably meant the Gertrude Jekyll. I know the greenfly can be a pest to get rid of.
