patching the grass after aforementioned puppy Stanley has been affecting the lawn

the grass actually looks quite lush and green in this photo

the hostas are doing well

the azalea has done brilliantly this year after several poor years - i loaded it with ericacious compost over the winter

the red acer struggles but comes back every year
