It is tied to the wall. It is amazing. Always buy one that is in flower. They are terrible for not flowering.

Thank you Linda . I know I had one for 14 years never ever flowrred so I had it dug out it was by my door going up the wall which I am glad I did as I was reading the other day not to plant one near a house it distroys foundations .
