Only since I ve lived here with a lot smaller garden than what I use to have. Some its to do with health and mainly age not many in my area Coventry that are young are not interested in gardening so just buy ready made up pots to impress others.

same thing here the younger people are not interested in gardening, a few do but not many, really don't know what their interest is nowadays

Yes it's such a shame seems they don't like work here it's either education drugs drink keep fit in gyms Foot ball Rugby cars or work till you drop to make ends meet as with all the cheap immigrant labour has driven wages down.
